Cycle 009 두번째 결과인 윤우제&엘와 곤잘레스 작가의 는 바콜로드와 광주의 도심 속 하천을 거닐며 서로의 문화와 환경에 스며드는 경험에서 출발했습니다. 이번 협업 설치 작품은 서로 다른 풍경 속에 무심히 버려진 일상의 잔해들을 채집하고 그 속에서 자연과 인간의 관계를 탐구하는 수많은 시선을 눈 깜빡임 행위를 통해 포착합니다. 일상의 파편들이 모여 만들어낸 재생의 순간과, 눈 깜빡임과 같은 찰나의 ‘쉼’을 담은 이번 전시는 우리가 간과했을지도 모를 것들에 대한 새로운 시각과 자연과 인간, 그리고 그 사이에 흐르는 관계에 대해 고찰하고자 합니다.

The second outcome of Cycle 009, Blinkspace by Ujei Yun and Elwah Gonzales, emerged from their immersive experiences in each other’s cultures and environments, as they wandered through the urban streams of Bacolod and Gwangju. This collaborative work captures a multitude of eyes, exploring the relationship between nature and humans through the symbolic act of blinking, while collecting fragments of everyday life casually discarded across various landscapes. By embodying moments of regeneration created from these gathered fragments and the transient “pause” of a blink, this work invites us to gain a new perspective on overlooked details and to reflect on the interconnectedness of nature and humanity.
